Geraldine Pratten - Public Sector Qualitative

Geraldine specialises in qualitative research, in particular she has significant experience in local government, education, housing, transport, finance, customer service and retail.  She has an impressive background in research working with the design,  implementation and analysis of a range of both qualitative and quantitative projects with a variety of end clients' such as Tesco's, Barnardos, LloydsTSB, Liverpool City Council amongst others. Within the education sector, Geraldine has a vast amount of knowledge and expertise. She has worked alongside major education boards and universities including but not limited to undertaking image and reputation research, teachers' experiences and perceptions on training courses and measuring the effectiveness of OCR national campaigns, course structures and qualifications Geraldine has achieved a range of professional development skills from design, application of questionnaires, the handling of consumer projects and analysis of quantitative data to achieving Full Member of the Market Research Society. She has successfully built up the qualitative research arm of Alchemy Research a Wakefield based research agency.

Helen Forster - FMCG

Helen is a management consultant with experience in marketing and research gained primarily from the FMCG sector and London agencies. She is a professionally trained quantitative and qualitative market researcher.  Helen has 6 years brand management and research knowledge in snack food marketing including responsibility in national account management for key multiple retailers such as Marks and Spencer and Co-op.  At both a national and regional levels Helen has 3 years management consultancy experience responsible for strategic development and evaluation for a range of clients in public and private sectors.  She previously has been appointed to Vice-Chair of the Chartered Institute of Marketing Special Industry Group which is the largest group in the CIM. Helen is also a member of the Research Society, UK Evaluation Society and a Life fellow of the Institute of Direct Marketing.

Karen Jarvis -Blue chip brands

Karen has over 20 years quantitative and qualitative research alongside her successful development of a business based on word of mouth recommendations and repeat business.  Karen has held a range of marketing and research roles her most recent being a partner in TJF Research, responsible for the management, development and implementation of research projects for woodstains and varnish business along with the accident repair market.  She has worked on Pan European research projects with consumers and trade professionals as part of her role as Head of Research for ICI Paints. Other roles have included working as Brand Manager, Brand Planner and European Market Research Manger for Coca-Cola implementing new product developments, strategic planning and promotion of continuous data sources throughout North-West Europe. Karen is also a full member of the Market Research Society.

Adrian became Managing Director of Consumerdata Ltd in 1992, after his original company of Consumergraphics Ltd was renamed as Consumerdata after the purchase of the U.I.S. market research division. His previous experiences as Vice President of Business Development and Planning UK for C.M.T. Ltd; Head of Marketing Services for the MEED Group; Deputy Head of Marketing for the Financial Times BIU and Business Deputy Head of Research for IBIS have qualified him as an expert on all aspects of customer care and satisfaction. As such, he is frequently called upon to speak at seminars, universities and conferences worldwide.
