Paul Sutherland, our Managing Director has been requested to join a national advisory board of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
The Chartered Institute of Marketing exists to develop and deliver leading-edge thinking for The Institute and its various stakeholder groups. The CIM is 'the world's leading professional marketing organisation.' Membership of the Institute is widely recognised as a basis for careers in marketing management.
The Institute think that the future of marketing is bright because organisations need robust marketing strategies as global competition is getting increasingly tougher over time. In this context, marketing needs to closely engage with the consumer since this direct relationship is established via an increasing multitude of various channels.
Nowadays, consumers as well as the other stakeholders always demand rational and emotional benefits to be linked to a new ethical dimension that is being associated to them via the crucial role of brands and a clear policy of corporate social responsibility.
